Land ownership in Colorado PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 18 July 2008
Here's an interesting fact for you...did you know that the US Government owns 36.6% of the land in Colorado (source)? This includes military bases, nature parks and reserves, indian reservations, etc. It's a lot, though Colorado is only ranked 10. At the top of the list is Nevada, where the government owns 84.5% of the land!

Here's to federally owned (and protected) land! Because what passes for development in the West mostly sucks LOL. No character, no quality, just cookie cutters and greed.
