Last night the Rockies won their fourth straight game of the series to win the National League Championship, sending them to the World Series! They've won an incredible 21 of their last 22 games. The World Series will start next Wednesday with the Rockie's first game being on the road, facing either the Boston Red Sox or the Cleveland Indians. Hopefully these games will be at more reasonable times so the whole family can enjoy watching them (this game, for example, ended at 11:38PM!). The Denver Post has a nice article about te game here.

Of course, baseball in Colorado in late October...one has to wonder if any of the home games will be snowed out, and if so, would that be the first time this has happened in a World Series game? One things' for sure, the way sports commentators love stats, they'll be sure to let us know if/when this happens...
