Woodland Park celebrated Earth Day by closing its only recycling center, the drop-off bins at WalMart.  Apparently too many people were using them to dump general garbage, ruining this for everyone.  Your least expensive option now is to sign up with Teller County Waste for curbside garage collection, and they'll also then take mixed recyclables from you.  Hazardous waste still needs to be taken down to Colorado Springs like always.
