Construction work may not have begun yet on Woodland Station (the new downtown addition in the old rodeo grounds), progress is being made, bit by bit. Developers are reviewing their detailed proposals with the city around this time, an important step in defining the look and feel of this development. While details are still somewhat scarce, you can read more about this in the Courier. The emphasis is on making this development pedestrian-friendly. While a two screen movie theater is still a likely part of the plans, to be added to that *may* be a twenty lane bowling alley, and perhaps an arcade or some other form of family-friendly entertainment above that.
